Read 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 and James 5:16. Ask God to empower you in the areas of your life where you are tempted. Use this time of social distancing, not to pull away from people, but leaning into people so that you can heal from the areas of your life that Satan is trying to attack you in.

CHALLENGE: Have the courage today to text someone in your connect group or someone close to you that you spiritually look up to, to share your struggles with and believe God for the breakthrough

Read Romans 12:1-2. Ask God to renew your mind. To shift it back to the things that are of Him. To take your thoughts off of the things that are pulling you further away from Him. 

CHALLENGE: Don't read or watch the news today.. Take the time Instead, to text or FaceTime people in your connect group to encourage each other and to spur each other on in the things of Jesus.

Read Galatians 5:1. When you say yes to a relationship with Jesus, He set you free from the power of sin in your life.  But even though we ARE free, we have to make the conscious choice to live in freedom every day of our lives.

CHALLENGE: While all of our routines are a lot different than normal take a moment today and remember your freedom. The freedom from sin you have in Jesus. The freedom from worry you have in His provision. The freedom from fear you have through the way that He cares for you. Remember your freedom and consciously live in it today.

CHALLENGE: Ask God to continue to give you a heart of generosity in the times that we are in. That your radical steps of obedience to tithe and give would continue to make a difference in the lives of people around us and all around the world.

Read Matthew 6:25-34 and remember that we are not meant to be lead by our feelings. Feelings of worry, anxiety and fear take our eyes of of Jesus who is our provider, healer and redeemer.

CHALLENGE: Even though we may not be meeting together physically today, we are still meeting together spiritually. So be an active worshipping and giving participant in each weekend service. Share the live video, comment, interact with each other. Continue to engage in every way possible.

Read Matthew 11:28-30. One of the best things we can do for the fear and worry that are in our lives right now, is to disconnect from normal things in life in order to focus on your own relationship with God. Remember and embrace God’s sabbath for your lives. Even Jesus honored the Sabbath.

CHALLENGE: Make it a point today to disconnect by fasting from social media and 24hr news and use that time do something special with your family and spend time leaning into Jesus.

Read Psalm 19:14. In this passage of scripture King David is asking that the words of his mouth and the meditation of his heart be pleasing to the Lord.

CHALLENGE: Take the whole day or a meal in the day and fast from food. Use the time you would use to consume food to strategically consume more of God’s Word. Keep His Word on your heart and let it penetrate every area of your life.

CHALLENGE: Write down this scripture on a notecard and carry it with you all day. Any time you face an obstacle or have a thought about one of your challenges you may be facing, simply read this scripture out loud to your obstacle.

Read Numbers 11:1. What areas of your life do you see yourself continually complaining? Maybe how the government or schools or churches are handling COVID-19. Remind yourself that complaining to other people breeds more complaints. It takes parts of your life that you have become ungrateful for and makes you more ungrateful. But when you pour out your complaints to God, he can turn your complaints into cheer! 
​

CHALLENGE: Regardless of circumstances, don't allow yourself to complain to people about anyone or anything for the entire day. Catch yourself in the act, and choose to take your complaints straight to God.

Read the story of Passover in Exodus 12 & 13. Specifically Exodus 12:1-7 & 12:12-13. Recognize that God is your deliverer. In every area of your life, no amount of darkness can overshadow the light that Jesus brings into your life. Ask God to show you areas in your life where culture has trapped you. Ask Him for His deliverance.

CHALLENGE: Write down the areas of your life that you feel bound and ask God to help you move from just surviving to THRIVING.
